EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL
Olive-growing has always been an important part of Balmean culture. In 1956, frost decimated 90% of the orchards.
Domaine Saint-Roch has been able to save some trees that are over a hundred years old, and some even three hundred years old.
This is a unique land of olive trees and vines.
Today, the remaining olive trees produce an extra virgin oil from a single variety of olives: Verdale de Carpentras.
The oil, with green fruity notes and the herbaceous taste of raw artichoke, is comparable to a fine wine: aroma, color, flavor, finesse.
Ideal for salads, Provençal dishes, blue-veined cheeses and strawberry sorbets.
